ENMIX Exchange Grant 2025 for Young Researchers

At the end of 2024, the ENMIX Exchange Grant was launched, offering up to €1500 for young researchers to travel to another ENMIX Partner for a short research stay.

For 2025, three grants were awarded to Izabela Majewska (UAntwerpen)Ana Rita Nunes Querido (UPorto), and Laura Valentino (CNR).

Izabela, who is in the 3rd year of her PhD will travel to TU Delft and work in the group of Prof. Atsushi Urakawa to study photocatalytic CO2 conversion using the in-situ Raman and FT-IR facilities offered at TU Delft.

Ana, a 2nd year PhD student will also travel to the group of Prof. Atsushi Urakawa at TU Delft to use the high-pressure reactor systems and in-operando spectroscopic techniques to further her research into the hydrogenation of CO2 into MeOH with carbon-supported bimetallic catalysts.

Laura, a 1st year PhD student, will go to Alicante to make use of the Reverse Water-gas shift reaction test facilities, SEM, and XPS offered by Prof. Antonio Sepúlveda Escribano, to help her with development of Ni-based catalysts for CO2 valorisation.
